HEART lesson plans include daily homework assistance. HEART provides 45 to 60 minutes a day totally devoted to helping students with their homework. To help students focus on their work, we use different learning strategies such as creating study groups and offer engaging activities when students are finished with their homework. HEART has developed a tool for tracking students' daily habits during homework time. The data is collected daily and can create reports to help students, parents and teachers track student progress. While HEART is not a homework completion program, we provide an encouraging and supportive environment for their after school study time.
