The HEART After School Program is offered to participating students free of charge every regular school day. Our goal is the daily delivery of a high quality program that is so engaging, students don't want to miss the regular school day. In this way, we also help the regular school day attendance. Our program has a student attendance policy designed to keep enrollment at a consistently high level so we can serve as many students as possible at each site. Because of the skills and effort required of our site staff to provide the quality level that we insist upon, we reach out to students and parents who value daily participation, and we insist that they maintain that attendance standard.
